LienDeadline vs LienItNow

Choose LienItNow when you need a notice, lien or other supported document prepared and handled on a per-order basis. It serves new projects as well as payment disputes. LienDeadline fits a team that already handles documents and wants a shared deadline workflow. If time is tight, confirm the service’s actual filing timetable before ordering.

What full service includes, and what still needs you

LienItNow’s how-it-works guide describes a questionnaire, order review, property/owner research and a draft for the customer to review. Full service then handles filing and service once the necessary signed documents are returned. Put that whole sequence on your schedule; an order confirmation is not proof that a lien has been recorded.

Its document range includes preliminary notices, bond claims, notices of intent and other state-specific products. That makes it relevant at the start of a job, not just when payment is overdue. Use the current price list to find the document your state and situation call for.

Turnaround language is especially important near a deadline. Standard draft preparation is described as approximately two business days. Rush service concerns a same-day draft for qualifying orders, not guaranteed same-day recording. Customer signatures, delivery and the recording office can still affect timing. For a deadline at risk, ask the provider and counsel what can actually be completed.

Keep the next action visible between document orders

A company can have a good filing service and still struggle to see what needs attention next week. LienDeadline’s role is to organize saved projects, deadline history and reminders in the credit workflow. That may complement per-document orders, but it should not create two conflicting versions of the same dates.

QuickBooks sync is listed on every plan, subject to account access and setup. Automation adds Procore sync, API access and private Zapier workflows. The integration playbook can help you plan the handoff from source data to a reviewed project record; imported invoice dates alone are not necessarily the statutory trigger dates.

Coverage remains limited in the public calculator: reviewed Florida and Kansas supplier scenarios return baselines, while other states and unsupported conditions return a review-required result. Check the supported scope before choosing a tracking tool for a multi-state workflow. Guides for all 51 jurisdictions should not be confused with automated calculations for every job.

Review current LienDeadline plans and limits

Before placing a time-sensitive order

  1. Ask whether the stated turnaround is for a draft, mailing, service or completed recording.
  2. Confirm who must sign, whether notarization or original documents are required, and how those documents reach the provider.
  3. Request the full state-specific price, including rush and external fees, and decide where the final filing/service evidence will be stored.

Common questions

Does rush service mean my lien is filed the same day?

Do not assume that. LienItNow describes same-day draft preparation for qualifying rush orders. Customer review, signatures and recording/service steps still follow. Confirm the actual completion timetable for the specific job.

Can LienItNow help before there is a payment dispute?

Yes. It offers new-project notices as well as liens and other payment-related documents. It is inaccurate to describe the service as useful only after an invoice becomes overdue.

Does LienItNow track any deadlines?

Its public material describes order-status tracking and recording the enforcement deadline after filing a lien. We did not identify a separately advertised invoice-wide monitoring product on the pages reviewed; ask about current options.

Can LienDeadline replace a filing order?

No. LienDeadline does not file, serve or record documents. Its tracking and reminders can support a process, but the actual document work stays with your team, counsel or a separate service.
