Ask in plain language, get dates with statutes
Prompt
We supplied a Florida commercial job for a subcontractor, Aug 3 to Sep 10, 2026. No final payment, no termination. When are our notice and lien deadlines?

Coverage
What it calculates today
When LienDeadline can't calculate a date, it says so and explains why.
- Calculated supplier deadlines
- Preliminary notice and lien filing for Florida and Kansas private projects.
- More states
- Added as each state's reviewed rules are released.
- Everything else
- Returns “needs review” with the reason: other states, public projects and any deadline that depends on a fact you don't know.
- Lien guides
- All 50 states and DC, with statute citations.
- Invoice-based deadlines
- Available with a customer API key through the local MCP server.
Tools
Five public tools, all read-only
calculate_supplier_deadlines- Preliminary notice and lien filing deadlines from your delivery dates and yes, no or unknown answers about events that can move a deadline.
get_supplier_questions- Checks whether a state, project type and hiring relationship are covered, and lists the questions to ask with their sources.
calculate_supplier_deadlines_v3- Calculates the deadlines from the facts gathered with get_supplier_questions.
get_state_lien_guide- One state's lien guide: rules, statute citations, a deadline table and common questions.
list_state_lien_guides- Lists every guide, for all 50 states and DC.
Two more tools, calculate_lien_deadline and list_supported_states, calculate invoice-based deadlines with a customer API key. They run on the local server only.
Privacy and safety
Read-only, and only the facts you give
- Read-only. Nothing sends notices, files liens or makes payments.
- Sends only the facts you give. State, dates, project type, who hired you and your yes, no or unknown answers. Guide lookups send only a state code.
- Nothing stored between requests. No account, no key.
Details are in the privacy policy.

Pair it with the agent skill
The skill teaches your agent which facts to collect before it asks for a date.
Not legal advice. Results are educational baselines calculated from published state rules. Statutes change and every project is different, so verify critical deadlines with counsel. LienDeadline is not a law firm and does not file anything on your behalf.
